Jayde I. Powell Takes Over Atlanta Airport To Announce HubSpot INBOUND Partnership
Atlanta, GA — Jayde’s creativity is always in motion. From takeoff to landing, she draws inspiration from every destination, turning new moments into opportunities to reimagine how stories are told. That spirit is exactly what she carried into her latest partnership with HubSpot.
The billion-dollar software company recently tapped social strategist Jayde I. Powell as one of their official creator ambassadors for their annual INBOUND conference. To mark the major milestone, Powell announced the partnership with a photoshoot at her hometown airport—Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport.
HubSpot’s INBOUND conference serves as a space and opportunity for marketing professionals to level up their marketing skills, connect with thousands of industry leaders, and get the scoop on what’s to come in the world of business and marketing. This year’s conference featured three days of game-changing insight, meaningful connections, and numerous immersive experiences that help build practical plans for success for marketers. A few of the many notable speakers included Aimee Catalano, Managing Director of Global Partner Marketing at Google; Aja Frost, Senior Director of Global Growth at HubSpot; and actress and comedian Amy Poehler, among others, throughout the three-day event.
Drawing inspiration from HubSpot’s decision to bring INBOUND (typically held in Boston) to San Francisco for the very first time, Jayde set her sights on the Atlanta airport as the perfect backdrop—fitting, since her creative journey once took flight on the social team of a major airline headquartered there. The concept came to life with a custom-made, life-sized boarding pass that was printed at a local Atlanta shop. The boarding pass served as the perfect prop for Jayde’s shoot, inviting her followers to join her on the journey, even if it was just through a screen.
“When I came up with the creative direction for this campaign, I knew I had to tap my favorite local photographer—Diandra Thompson. We’ve been working together for years and have such a great friendship and working relationship. Any time I come to her with my crazy ideas, she’s always down, and that’s the energy I need in a creative partner. When I told her I wanted to shoot at the airport, she was pumped!”
With an orange suitcase and San Francisco travel guidebooks in tow, and the world’s busiest airport as her runway, Jayde’s announcement wasn’t just a partnership reveal. It was a statement in itself, saying that creative storytelling can transform familiar spaces into campaigns that take flight.
“It means a lot to me that HubSpot selected me not only as a speaker for INBOUND but also as a creator ambassador. The last time I was in San Francisco, I was in a full-time role. Coming back now as a speaker and creator ambassador feels like stepping into a new chapter. Partnerships like this help fuel my business as a creatorpreneur, so I’m thrilled to be teaming up with them again. They have been wonderful partners, and I hope we can continue to do big things together.”
