Teachable Takes Center Stage at VidCon with Jayde I. Powell and Featured Thought Leaders

Anaheim, CA — Last month, Anaheim played host to VidCon 2025, the premier gathering of platform pioneers, digital creators, and fans celebrating the culture and business of online content creation. Among the standout voices was social strategist and creatorpreneur Jayde I. Powell, who brought her insights to two impactful panels during the multi-day event.

A cornerstone of the digital landscape, VidCon brings together creators, brands, and their fans to exchange ideas, spark collaborations, and engage deeply in the evolving creator economy. This year’s event was particularly special as it marked YouTube’s 20th anniversary, honoring two decades of digital storytelling and innovation.

The speaker lineup featured a range of influential figures, including author and social activist Blair Imani, attorney and content creator Aaron Parnas, and Boston-based radio personality B Mo the Prince, among others.

Teachable’s panel, moderated by Olivia Owens, Head of Creator Partnerships, featured Jayde alongside Erin McGoff, content creator and founder of AdvicewithErin, and Jess Ramos, founder of Big Data Energy Analytics. Together, they explored how creators can leverage their knowledge and expertise to build thriving online communities and profitable businesses.

"I realized education could be a business model for me when I kept getting the same question: how? How did I land brand partnerships? How was I monetizing LinkedIn? The more I engaged with creators, the more I saw the demand for transparency—and the opportunity to teach others how I built my business."

The discussion offered a candid look into the highs and hurdles of being a modern-day creator. Panelists didn’t shy away from addressing the pressures of always being “on” and the critical need to take digital detoxes to sustain creativity and mental well-being.

At its core, the creator economy continues to thrive on shared knowledge, accessibility, and authenticity. Jayde’s presence at the event highlighted her ongoing influence in shaping conversations about creativity and authenticity in the creator economy.
